Mayor Bill de Blasio and First Lady Chirlane McCray are excited to open their doors to share the art from the She Persists Exhibit. Curated by Jessica Bell Brown, the installation celebrates and features over 60 pieces of work that embody the strength and creative enterprise of women on the centennial of winning the right to vote. Artists on view include Kara Walker, Faith Ringgold, Alice Neel and First Lady McCray's mother, Katharine Clarissa Eileen McCray.
Guests must enter through the 88th Street and East End Avenue entrance. A ticket and valid photo ID are required for entrance. All guests are encouraged to arrive early, 15 minutes prior to their scheduled tour start time, to allow ample time to pass through security. Please note that the waiting area will be outside. It is recommended that guests dress appropriately for the weather conditions that day.
Gracie Mansion Management reserves the right to deny access to guests without valid photo ID or tickets, and to guests who arrive more than 10 minutes late for their tour start time.
The Open House is available to ticketed guests only. All guests must bring a physical copy of each ticket with the bar code visible or be prepared to present their ticket on a mobile device. Registration for this event is open to New York City residents and will be determined by zip code. Tickets may not be sold, assigned or transferred.
This event is intended for adults. Children ages 8 and above are welcome to attend the event and will need a ticket to gain admission. All guests under 18 must be accompanied by a ticketed adult or guardian. Please note that strollers are not permitted inside the venue and there will be no stroller parking.
When you attend She Persists: A Century of Women Artists in New York – An Open House on Saturday, March 2, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. This event is open to the press. By entering the premises, you consent to such recording media and its release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, social media or other promotional outlets.

Gracie Mansion Management reserves the right to prohibit other items as deemed necessary. Please note that there are no storage facilities available on or around the complex. Individuals who arrive with prohibited items will not be permitted to enter Gracie Mansion.
